Highlights

Scanned the entire archive of old building files and drawings to insure materials are quickly available for public records requests and meet retention time lines. In addition, the old materials held by record storage companies was getting expensive and costs were rising. In this way, materials could be removed from formal storage, documents and drawings could be digitized, and public records requests could be satisfied quickly.

Solution

Remove records form expensive storage, digitize, provide retention dates and destroy anything that was past retention. All meeting state standards.
