Here’s another example of huge penalties being paid by a government. Could some of this have been minimized if they were able to quickly respond to Public Records requests. Although this is a unique case, the costs to all local government entities, and taxpayers to respond to increasing volumes of PR requests is staggering. It’s increasingly important to digitized records for instant retrieval of information and quick access to information during daily business activities.
