At today’s conference of the Association for Information & Image Management (AIIM) in Bellevue WA, Alastair Ramsay was honored as the past Chapter President of AIIM Northwest from 2007-2009. He was specifically recognized for his role in winning the 2009 AIIM National Chapter of the Year Award and building a successful track record over his two year term of focused customer presentations and speaker programs.
Alastair is a Business Analyst for USArchive and specializes in content management applications and conversion strategies across the major industry verticals. During his tenure of President, he grew AIIM Northwest to over 1,600+ members across the (5) five state region (WA, ID, OR, MT, AK), as well as opened (2) two new satellite chapter locations in Portland OR and Anchorage AK, to serve the document management needs and concerns of clients in these locations.
Alastair is one of the pioneers in the document management industry and began his career in document management in 1987 and implemented some of the first content management systems in the Pacific Northwest. He has also travelled extensively and performed implementations in China, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and other Asia Pacific Rim countries.
